I have been trying to get a longer battery life with the M5StickC without a power bank through USB-C. I have been trying to use the BAT and GND pins on the headers. I opened one and realized the BAT pin is soldered the positive internal 80mAh battery wire. I tried connecting an external 400mAh lipo battery, so it would be connected in parallel to the internal one and for the little I know about these batteries I though they should work, but didn't. Does anyone know what I could do to make them work?

Thank you!

To increase the running time you should be appling power to the 5V< pin.

Is it possible to connect another lipo battery to the BAT pin?

I'm not entirely sure, but perhaps you could look at the design of beetlec, puppyc, bugc or the 8 servo hat as reference since they all use external lipo.
Not sure if the schematics are in here as I don't know how to open the schematics files https://github.com/m5stack/M5-Schematic
