Heather, an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), has assisted families in their efforts to breastfeed their children For nine years. She has been a board certified lactation consultant since the spring of 2018 and has worked in private practise for four years. She received her accreditation as a La Leche League Leader (LLLL) in October of 2014. The Southeastern Lactation Consultants Association now has her on its board. Before the Atlanta Birth Center opened its doors a few years ago, she took part in a number of fund-raising events.
