First I really enjoy the M5Stack products so much that I plan to use them in the 2025/26 school year as part two new electronics classes...I think?

Simply put is that my problems are the result of not knowing the M5Stack products well enough yet. Yet part of my issues are the result of:

• M5Stack AI Engine (and other AI Engines) simply making stuff up
• Lack of documents with an explanation of blocks (which isn't a problem with Arduinos)
• Simply put some stuff should "just work"

So my question is...because my students will ask...trust me....why can't we simply:

• adjust the SCL and SDA so they align with UIFLOW2?
• why not add the address of the device with the SCL and SDA in UIFLOW2?

I am guessing these requests will cause a lot of code to be rewrote? Yet to make UIFLOW2 more flexible and to reduce frustration these requests would go a long way when you consider I wasted over 2 hours on a Friday night of trying to figure out why I couldn't connect a ENV III Sensor to work through a PaHub (now I know...address conflict) which was even more complicated when I was using PortC!

Thanks to a few of you (Felix) for this magic line of code and I just discovered how to add my own code today with Green item "Add mpy code" under SYSTEM (so the weekend wasn't a total loss) :

You are right. I now use pin 33. All sensors keep updating.
Now i have to built a relay cirquit for our 230volt net.

Why can't it connect even though the password is the same?

In the config I see "Start Mode" is "USB Mode". This means, your device is not connecting to WiFi at startup unless a previously stored program does. Change the mode and try again.

yes, I see that too. It seems that the latest versions (2.3.5 and 2.3.6) have power to port A disabled. E.g. port A has no power.

Please find my example in the UIFlow2 Project Zone which manually turns on power to port A: M5Tab5_Enable_Ext5V_EnvIV_Test_UIFlow2.3.6

I created an issue on github for this issue.

I tried recreating your M5Tab5 script for the Core 2 and got these results:
(I realise that the RGB Unit doesn't use I2C but for port A to work I think I need to set it up in the same way anyway.)

Hardware Compatibility:

CoreS3 (SKU:K128) supports both Unit Weight-I2C and Module13.2 Stepmotor Driver v1.1 (SKU:M039-V11) via I2C
Stepper driver provides precise control with microstepping (FULL to 1/32 step) and step counting
Weight unit offers calibration, tare function, and filter settings through UIflow2 blocks

Required Functions Implementation:

Load Cell Calibration: Use WEIGHT_I2CUnit.set_calibration() with known weights
Tare Function: Implement via WEIGHT_I2CUnit.set_reset_offset()
Stepper Control: Utilize StepMotorDriverModule methods for direction, microstepping, and PWM frequency control
Position Tracking: Count steps using motor control commands and convert to displacement based on T8x4 rod (4mm per revolution)
Data Logging: Use UIflow2's file system blocks to save CSV data to internal storage
HMI Interface: Create buttons and plots using CoreS3's display blocks

Implementation Considerations:

Ensure proper power supply (9-24V) for the stepper driver
Implement step delay logic for smooth motor movement

have you tried the RGB module in Hardware? Works fine for me.

Hi everybody,

I think UIFlow V2.3.1 has a major bug in the UI Component Image.
When you insert an image, the following Python code is created:
image0 = Widgets.Image("/flash/res/img/default.jpg", 139, 115, scale_x=1, scale_y=1)
Python only has the path to the image, and the x and y coordinates as parameters.
That's why the following error appears when compiling:
TypeError: extra keyword arguments given

You have to change the python code manually to:
image0 = Widgets.Image("/flash/res/img/default.jpg", x=1, y=1)

I think this kind of error in UiFlow is unacceptable.
Adding a UI Component and then having to manually change the Python code!
Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Module 1:
The firmware can be reprogrammed, but it doesn't solve the problem.
The LED also turns blue if the wrong Wi-Fi SSID and password are entered, which is not what's expected (the LED should turn red!).

Module 2:
The firmware cannot be updated (I'm currently investigating this because the PICO D4 is soldered directly to a PCB; see also: https://forum.m5stack.com/topic/8007/serial-connection-problem-and-connection-to-server-failed).
