The plan was actually to configure my HomeAssistant for local voice control.

Well, if you're too stupid to read that the Atom S3 "LITE" has no microphone or speaker, you're out of luck... now my 3 Atom S3 Lites are lying on my desk and are more or less useless.

I've got an idea: Smart garage door without a stupid cloud... well, is that possible?

Current status:
3 garage doors with Tuya Garage Door Opener (with reed contact) -> these are then inserted into the HA.. Has been running for years..

Desired status.
Integrate the 3 small Atoms WITHOUT cloud directly into the HA
so:
Buy 3x small 5v relay boards, put them on the Atom S3 Tasmota and then somehow integrate the relay and the reed contacts..

Hmm, but how? I found absolutely nothing on the internet...

I've already installed Tasmota, but I have no idea how to configure the GPIO so that the reed contact recognizes whether the door is open or closed.

I was thinking of GPIO 5 as a relay for opening and closing (opening and closing via a GPIO)

and GPIO 6 as a sensor for whether it is open

Best wishes
