    • Detect walking direction using 2 PIR units

      Hello,
I'm planning to buy two M5stack PIR units and a pb.hub (I'll connect this to an M5stickCplus)
Do these PIR sensors trigger consistently (always the same sensitivity)?
I need to know this because I want to use the time difference between the triggering of these two sensors (mounted in a distance of ~10cm away from each other) to detect in which direction a person walks.

      Thanks
      Aaron

    • Measurement time of the ToF Unit

      Hello,
Does anyone know about the measurement time of the ToF Unit?
I mean, how long is the interval you can measure in repeatedly?

      Thanks,
      Aaron

    • RE: Max amount of devices able to connect to M5Core2

      @hopscotch123
For the duplicate addresses, you can use a Pa.hub as it is a multiplexer and allows you to use multiple devices with the same addr.
And if you use this, you can use the 4 spare ports for other i2c devices as it has 6 ports.
      This saves some i2c ports.
You can afaik also cascade these pa.hubs (Plug one into another to get even more Ports) if you run out of ports.
There is the same thing available for i/o ports, which is called Pb.hub.
The pb.hub is plugged into one i2c port (can also be in a pa.hub) and adds 6 I/O connectors (The ones that are used with units with black grove ports, red ports are I2C and blue ones (rarely used) are serial ports)

      Best regards

    • RE: UI-Flow: Detect charging via M5GO Battery Bottom2 (with Core2)

      OK,
I'll try and get the voltages (using the data from axp192) when charging and when not charging and see if i can detect it using this.....
      Thanks Aaron

    • UI-Flow: Detect charging via M5GO Battery Bottom2 (with Core2)

      Hello,
In UIFlow, I want to detect if my M5Core2 is charging on its Battery Base (using the GO Battery Charger)
      Is this possible?
If I charge it using the USB-C Cable, the Charge State Block detects it, but not using the M5Go-Charger

      Thanks in advance

    • RE: Can i connect a Grove (non-M5stack) rotary encoder to m5core2 with battery bottom2?

@felmue: i think this rotary encoder works like any "normal" one. AFAIK, it doesn't use I2C but a kind of "If turned one step right, first pin A high, the Pin B high, then both Low".
My concerns were that i heard somewhere about the m5stack not being 5V-tolerant (that means if you put 5v on an input pin, it destroys the pin forever)
Is it physically safe to connect it?
I already thought of some code how to read it , which just uses the "dual button" unit in UIflow and compares the RTC times the A high or B high.

      Thanks

    • Can i connect a Grove (non-M5stack) rotary encoder to m5core2 with battery bottom2?

      Hello,
I want to have a rotary knob in my project. Can i use this?
I cant use the M5stack encoder as i already use the only I2C Port (Port A) for a Dlight unit.

      Thanks

    • How to enter USB Mode on CORE2

How can i get to usb mode on core2 without using m5burner every time?
I saw that on the original core, you could press a button (a physical one that is now a touch surface) to select start mode.
Is this still possible on the core2?
      Thanks
