It could be the pins are wrong, The IR is on GPIO9 and the red on gpio10.

@wkibler you need to make this offer direct to M5STACK. I have been pushing and teachers have been asking but if you make a finical offering they that could tip the scales into getting one. I asked for a RpI based private host.
It looks like it the access side is down while they upgrade the api's.

When using the MQTT the simmilar problem occure. The weight value sometimes shows nonsense number.

I checked this on M5Stack Basic, and these two characters (0x30FC, and 0x30FB) were shown properly.
So this is the problem occurs only on core2. v1.8.3 for core2 still has this problem, and I strongly wish It would soon be fixed.
