Format the ATOM?

I used Arduino to do a project on an ATOM and it went so well, that I bought a second one. The second one has no response other than a short few pixels that lighted up after uploading the Arduino files. Can I format the ATOM to see if it is functional or is it possible I got a bad one?

@donnyb Download and Use M5Burner as it has a button to erase the flash.

Thanks, that worked. Now, I need to find the MAC address of the ATOM. Is there an easy way to do that?
