Atom Lite as a Modbus Slave Device

Is there any possibility to read more than one register at once with a modbus master? The atom act as a slave and should have the data in its own register. I want to read e.g. 4 registers at once. Does anyone had a micropython documentation of the modbus stuff for m5stack?
