UIFlow-Desktop-IDE reports: Upload code fails, maybe your device is offline check it and retry.

Using MacOS Big Sur version 11.5.1, when I run UIFlow-Desktop-IDE V1.7.5, the software reports: Upload code fails, maybe your device is offline check it and retry. In the lower left of the screen next to the COM port in use the word Disconnected is in red.
Makes no sense to me because the M5Burner software V2.2.8 sees the M5Atom and successfully installs the firmware. I'm new to this. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you for your help with this. -
Hello @sunsetsafterglow
Does this occur when you use UI Flow website/ web version? You can go to M5 burner configuration to check the settings for start mode is set to App mode.
It could be either your device is not compatible or you keyed in the wrong API key. -
desktop version is out of date, please use online version

When will a new version of the desktop be available?
