Atom Motion, stop power to motors?
-
I'm using the Atom Motion device to drive two LRAs. Is there a way (other than simply sending no signal) to stop any current to the motor after it runs?
Context: After the motors run for any amount of time (even <1 second) they continue to get hotter and hotter to the point of being untouchable. If the device is turned on and the LRAs are connected but are never actuated, they stay cool. It only happens after they have been used. I've added a line of code to explicitly set the motor speed to 0 after it's done, but I'm not sure if that's really sufficient or if there is a more effective way.
Advice?
