(ESP32 Ethernet Unit with PoE) Compatibility Sanity Check

Hello I was hoping if I could get some help with compatibility/feasibility check with my configuration.
ESP32 Ethernet Unit with PoE + Grove2Grove Expansion Unit connected to
- Mini CAN Unit
- I/O Hub 1 to 6 Expansion Unit
- Will I/O hub interfere with CAN unit?
- Is the Grove2Grove unit necessary or can I just hook the two units up in parallel (if I don't need on/off + current meter)
