I have try compile this firmware with small changes.
      https://github.com/m5stack/M5-PbHUB-Internal-FW
With keil studio. I must say that I have nothing good to say about keil and it is quite blast from the 90'. Is there any opensource or cli option to compile that firmware?

@ajb2k3 I think thats not true. There is no ino files or basically anything what refers that it is done with arduino ide. And by my understanding it is not even compatible with any level witth it.

For compiling the firmware from the M5-PbHUB-Internal-FW repo, try using the Arduino IDE or PlatformIO. Both are open-source and offer a more modern experience. You can also use the command line with PlatformIO, which is pretty flexible.
