M5Unit MiniScale firmware

I see there is newer firmware (v4 from v3) for the MiniScale Unit.
How does one go about updating the STM32 firmware on these units?

I, too, am looking for clear-cut information on how to update the firmware on several devices using the STM chips on the Unit itself.

I've searched most of the GitHub repos, done web searches, and asked my AI buddies for help, but nothing is directly related to M5 devices.
