name 'clear bg' isn't defined (SOLVED)

just got my M5stick C. I don't have previous experience with M5. It was fine getting it loaded with UIFlow and connecting it to wifi but every little program I am trying to run I get a big X on the screen and the following msg: "name 'clear bg' isn't defined"

On my code there is this line which I assume sets the lcd screen to black:

clear_bg(0x111111)

Any help will be appreciated

@lvangelis shorted! I think I was using a different UIflow for device and web. all good now
