      Hello,
I have been trying to get a longer battery life with the M5StickC without a power bank through USB-C. I have been trying to use the BAT and GND pins on the headers. I opened one and realized the BAT pin is soldered the positive internal 80mAh battery wire. I tried connecting an external 400mAh lipo battery, so it would be connected in parallel to the internal one and for the little I know about these batteries I though they should work, but didn't. Does anyone know what I could do to make them work?

      Thank you!

Any update on this? Would really like to know if it is possible to connect external lipo batteries to the BAT pin.

I'm not entirely sure, but perhaps you could look at the design of beetlec, puppyc, bugc or the 8 servo hat as reference since they all use external lipo.
Not sure if the schematics are in here as I don't know how to open the schematics files https://github.com/m5stack/M5-Schematic

Bear with us, I contacted the engineers and they said the stickC schematic would be released soon

@lukasmaximus Although having the schematics would be great, is it possible to just have an answer to the question? Is it possible to connect another lipo battery to the BAT pin?

@joao-tragtenberg Based on my limited knowledge, the BAT pin is only an out pin. To increase the running time you should be appling power to the 5V< pin.
