      I am a new user of m5stickC.

      I use Win7 & installed CP210xVCP driver successful.

But still can't identify m5stickC always show unknown device in device manager.

      Thanks

Hi @Guy , try another 100% legit USB-C cable. A lot of complains about cables coming with M5 devices in box.

if that doesnt help, boot into safe mode (F8 before windows loads), go device manager, find and remove CP210 drivers, install fresh ones from m5stack.com website and reboot normally.

@thrasher Absolutely 100% legal USB-C cable from product box.

As well as, I try to use my another PC (Win10) still can't identify.

This new m5stickC automatically run a testing program, How can I go to UI Flow Menu.

@Guy I understand its legit cable supplied with M5 device, but people report they are not very good. So I suggest to try another cable first (before disassembling device lol). If another cable wont help too, you can try to unscrew hex bolts and check if USB port soldered properly

I managed to access Flow menu after reflashing it with latest UIFlow firmware

Yes, the USBC leads that come with M5Stack products do have a high failure rate however Windows also has a bug with the driver.

A point to note with all leads is to never fold them, only coil them up loosely.

Yeah but if it says "unknown device" - 90% is physical layer connection failure

I heard one windows 7 user fixed his connectivity issues by installing FTDI driver, here are other forum posts related to this issue, maybe you will find some answers there.
