      I'm powering the Atom Lite via a Lipo Rider Plus board (output 5v) from a Lithium Ion battery. When I try to program it while it's being powered by the battery - it doesn't seem to work. Programs fine when not powered by the battery - and also programs fine when the USB cable is connected first, then the battery. USB power runs to the Lipo Rider board in order to charge the battery (instead of the Atom) as I'm powering a matrix of LEDs. Wiring diagram below.

        It may be cutting it to protect the LDO in the Atom.
        I once tried this and killed the LDO in a pico so I do not recommend it.

        UIFlow, so easy an adult can learn it!
        If I don't know it, be patient!
        I've ether not learned it or am too drunk to remember it!
