Inexperienced shopping list for grandson

Planning to purchase a M5Stack Cardputer and sensors for my grandson to try out now he's old enough, but as I don't personally have experience in this area wanted to know if the following were correct choices i.e. would go together as a starter project: Cardputer plus ENV IV Unit with Temperature Humidity Air Pressure Sensor (SHT40+BMP280), M5Stack I2C Hub 1 to 6 Expansion Unit (PCA9548APW), Mini Scales Unit (HX711). Are any other items needed to get going? Thanks in advance
