[almost carbon copy of my "how to update from macOS/Sonoma" topic]

      Hi folks,

Just opened the boxes on my ATOM Joystick and Stamp Fly this morning and having no luck pairing - so I figure I should first update the firmwares.

But the base instructions are using the Windows EasyLoader, and here I see old posts from 2020 to 2022, so I'm wondering what people would recommend (for a Noob) when using Linux.

I'll be asking the same question separately for writing firmwares from macOs.
      I'll choose whatever looks easiest.

Bare in mind, I'm completely new to this so haven't understood the references to different softwares.

Isn't there a simple tutorial for none-Windows basic firmware writing?

      Thanks for any pointers,
      Mike.

P.S. to be clear about the "real problem" I'm trying to solve (I'll post another topic). When powering on the ATOM Joystick as described (press/hold screen button, whilst switching on) I am never prompted with "Press to Pair" or anything like it. I see just a sort of dashboard of figures (like voltages maybe).
