Hi! in some firmware like bus pirate you can.
If you connect the cardputer and your pc or smartphone to the same wifi and select as terminal type "wifi web" , it appears an IP adress.
And if you put this adress into your laptop browser you can control bus pirate from there.
But i don't think you can do that normaly with other firmwares.

if its about initial config with stock firmware to add your Cardputer device to your wifi then it can be done via M5Burner in config,

            M5StickC, M5StickCPlus, M5StickCplus2,M5GO, M5Core, M5Tough, M5Core2, M5 Demo Board, M5Dial, M5Paper, M5Atom, M5Cardputer, M5StampS3, CoreMP135, StamPLC, AirQ, M5Tab, M5CardputerAdv
