UNITED SIKHS started in 1999 with a group of Sikhs from New York who came together to help immigrant communities in Queens, New York. Now, it's a big organization with more than 560,000 Facebook followers and over 30,000 on Twitter as of August 2021. They have teams in North America, Asia, Africa, Australia, and Europe. They focus on seva (volunteer work), helping those in need, and supporting the rights and growth of poor and minority groups.
