M5Burner download question:

Am I missing something? I'm using MacOS, in M5Burner, I click download for the required firmware, it says it's downloaded but I can't find the downloaded file.
I downloaded the M5Launcher without issue, it's there in my downloads folder but nothing else.
I want to save them to my SD Card so I can use them later.

@andyzot im on Win11, m5Burner firmware downloads firmware file in to installation folder but his name is just random letters and numbers, what I do then is I open this folder and then after downloading firmware i know that newest file added is this one so i change its name to something useable, copied then to sd card can be used in Launcher

You’re probably not missing anything obvious, it’s just a bit confusing how M5Burner handles downloads on macOS. When you click download inside M5Burner, the firmware is often saved to M5Burner’s internal data directory rather than your normal Downloads folder. That’s why you can see M5Launcher but not the firmware files. Try checking the app’s data or cache folder, or use the “Burn” option and see where it points by default. From there, you should be able to copy the files to your SD card for later use.

The issue is that M5Burner saves firmware files in its installation folder with random names, rather than in the Downloads folder. Robski explained that on Windows, they check the installation folder, identify the newest file after downloading, rename it to something recognizable, and then copy it to the SD card for use in M5Launcher. The same approach should work on MacOS.
