      Consider one of the many modules for M5Stack - "GPS" (Fig. 1). Buy it now on Aliexpress

      This module is a plastic gray frame, which has means of screws, special circuit Board with two connectors 2 to 15 and securely attached GPS module Blox NEO-M8N (Fig. 2, 3).
      This module is designed to receive data about the current location from the GPS satellite navigation system.

      On the right side of the frame (Fig. 4) is embossed inscription GPS and a cavity under a flat-blade screwdriver for easy removal of a module, because due to connector 2 of 15 modules are kept pretty tight.

      On the frame left side there is a socket of type MCX (Fig. 5, 6) for connecting an external antenna, which comes bundled with the module.

      The antenna is an external module in a black plastic case (Fig. 7). Fixing is performed by using the integrated magnet inside. Cable length 1.5 m Connector type as mentioned earlier - MCX. Operating frequency is 1575.42 MHz, voltage from 2.7 to 5 V.
