I've just taken delivery of my first M5Stack and am tearing my hair out trying to get additional fonts to load in Micropython. Doing a really good search here hasn't turned up anything that seems to work for me.

Can someone give me an example on where to put the font file, what format it needs to be in, and how to load it please?

I have tried converting a .ttf to a .fon using the online converter, then putting the file in the root alongside boot.py and main.py, but nothing I try with the lcd.font command woks - the M5Stack just reboots.

      Help!!

Thanks for the response Flypeek, I've seen both those and nothing works. The M5Stack just reboots.
