Cores3 uiflow
-
@ajb2k3 Let's hope they get things sorted. I have a number coming next week and so far, I can't see how I can program anything but the demo for Core3. Uiflow 2 looks promising but missing some items that I have previously been able to use in Uiflow 1 devices such as the Core2. Maybe I am just being impatient!

@uktechguy The S3 generation communicate differently with computers unlike the previous generations and so require a different background setup for coding (more like the RPI) UIFLow2 is currently considered as "TEST" because of it and so several functions sometimes break.
I'm waiting on the CoreS3 to be added so I can work on the guide.

@ajb2k3 Mine are supposed to be here tomorrow - let's hope I can do something with them. I have a number of M5 products and have generally been pleased with them. Where will your guide appear?
-
any update on this, need to get started..
-
We will find out on Friday.
-
@ajb2k3 What's happening on Friday and where can I read about it? I am straining at the leash with frustration!
-
@uktechguy Even us alpha testers are waiting so we can create guides.
Friday is normally the day when UIFlow updates are released and new products go on sale
-
@ajb2k3 they just tweeted cores3 alpha version uiflow today......:)
-
its out!
-
tired it, its buggy touch support not working, lagging
-
@andreashamalis what did I say!
-
I, too, have received a CoreS3.
I have flashed many Core2s before, but this does not seem to work?
From the M5Burner application, I can select the Alpha13 UIFlow 2.0 firmware, successfully burn it to the CoreS3, but it starts up regardless in the demo application….
Are others seeing the same?

The S3 generation is flashed differently to previous generations, you have to manually put the S3 devices into boot mode by holding down the reset button to get a green light to get them to flash.
I have a video about it going live on Saturday on Youtube.
