I’m building a project to place it in a car dashboard and I am wondering if the internal battery of the basic M5Stack Core can be disabled.
The reason is that I only want the device to be on when car power is sent through usb c cable and off as soon I switch off the car power when locking car doors.
Does anyone knows how can I disable the internal battery without having to press a button? Thanks -
@davmartes you could Unplug the battery?
I think there is also a way to mimic the power button to do it -
I would leave it connected and have an abortable shutdown timer like on some sat navs
-
@DavMartEs It's better to cut off the power cord of battery.

@m5-docs great, thank you. Do you have any picture or diagram that shows the location of the cable?
-
@davmartes According to the following pictures, you can cut off the red cable of Battery

or cur off the pin named "BATTERY" on M5-Bus

@m5-docs what about M5StickC? Is it possible to do the same? Do you have a diagram?
