Not with the Adafruit-GFX library that is the display driver in the M5Stack library. You can rotate the display, but only the whole display, not show text in multiple orientations at the same time. It would be a cool modification though...

Hi Rob. Yes there are 100nF directly at the Power supply of the Mcp3204. But that won't help. I Ordered some lm4040 to have a clean voltage reference. I think that will help. Regards Dominik

@moelski found the pictures, I hacked together some cheap gloves instead of making the gloves from scratch and stuck the flex sensor in between the layers of fabric. It wasn't very sophisticated just a funny musical gadget to amuse my students. https://ibb.co/ccXmnq https://ibb.co/necafA

@b1063n said in External Power - What is possible?: So, did anyone find a solution. I was about to buy it, but then when I look at the documentation for the power supply voltage I cannot find it! Documentation is quite poor I must add. I do not need battery operated solution, and the USB power is super ugly and inconvenient! I need to use external 5V power supply connected to pins inside the board in a professional manner (no pcb hacking). Is this not possible? I cannot believe it!! Yes it is possible as the Stackable modules provide internal power to M5Stack cores. (Sorry been working on my books and documenting units with demos this weekend.) The documents I have, show that each stackable module has its own voltage regulator that delivers 5 volts to pin 28 of the internal bus (+5V). If you look at the Proto module you will see that these pins are marked ready for you. https://docs.m5stack.com/#/en/module/proto

Hi ! @rop 在 M5 Fire and the IMU 中说: It really sucks that the people making these things never answer any questions... You named it ... These are so exiting devices, but if you study the docs I have to facepalm my self sometimes :-) @ChrisMicro Thx for the link to your repo. Unfortunately I don´t have a fire yet. I ordered a black one (where I didn´t know that the IMU is not available). And then I ordered a gray one. It took 4 weeks to get the gray one to germany. I know it has arrived some days ago but I´m on vecation until saturday :-) The black one is still missing - for 5 weeks now. I really hope it arrives, soon. So I will do my first tests on saturday or sunday. And I´m still unsure if I should order a fire. Is it worth the price ... and did I really need the additional features? I´m working on a data glove at the moment where I will use the gray M5Stack - or let´s say I hope I can use the M5 in general. I hope it´s not to heavy and I can mount it on top of the glove. But that´s a little bit OT now ... Will see if I order a fire for some detailed testing :-) Dominik
