    • RTC Error 19 help

Sometimes I get an error 19 on my Core2, when the RTC Unit will do something. Anyway, can I check with UiFlow the errors and "push" the retry button, because after that it always continue, per code?
      Thanks

    • Cat Door 2.0

      Hi

I was looking for automatic cat door, but with a real door. Then I saw the M5Stack Shop and decided to try it by myself…

Thats the result from my first project with M5-Stuff and UiFlow! Not yet looking good. But first it has to work for a few days before I fix all the cables.

The door opens only about 15cm! Not like the picture. And stays open for 15 seconds. With a led stripe as a countdown/up

      Here as a video
      Video

      Material:
Core2 with DinBase and a 12V power adapter
1 PaHub ( next to the Core)
1 PbHub ( next to the Core)
2 Pir Units ( 1 inside and 1 outside with a pipe around for smaller angles)
2 Limit Units (1 on the open door and 1 above left)
1 TOF Unit (1 on the sliding triangle)
1 DayLight Unit (behind the robe for the brightness)
1 Ultra Sonic ( upper left)
      2 x 360° servos
      1 Groove Hub
1 Led Stripe (just for fun)
      1SD Card for Door-Status-Logfiles
      Some lego bricks and gears
      And a lot of cables

And of corse some home working materials

We got 2 chipped cats. The already ordered Rfid Units works at 13 Hz not at 134.2 for the cats. So I cant „read“ which cat is inside. They leave on the right. I planned to make a tunnel with 1 unit at the entrance and 1 at the exit. With the ID and the timestamp I can see hows in or out. If someone knows how to realize that, please tell me!

      Important for me:
The door will be still usable as normal!
No Movement when the door is locked, because of damage.

      Thanks for that forum!

    • From SD-Card in Core2 to NAS

      Hi
I got Log-Files from my project on the SD-Card in the Core2 Base. The Core2 is in my wifi. I got a QNAP-NAS that is also in the network.
Whats the best way to transfer files from SD to NAS? I think there are several ways!? I will be much easier than daily read the file from SD-Card on my computer....
      Thanks for your help

    • RE: Core2 Uiflow TOF default Hub??

I decided me for M5 Stack, because I like the different sensors and Cores also look good. An a shop nearby sells that stuff.
Everything else is fine! I ordered another Distsensor to see what happens
I just finished my project. But everything depends on a correct distance.

I will see. Thanks so far

    • RE: Core2 Uiflow TOF default Hub??

No. I was wrong. No calibration. Only if you measure through glass or stuff like that…
So I still have the same Problem.
My Core2 with a DinBase powered with a 12 Volt power thing.
PaHub in PortA and the Tof plugged on Ch0
A simple code to loop the distance of the unit to a label. In real its 13 cm. Running the Code via ChromeBrowser with Wlan to the Core.
Distance is 13.x. Perfect. Then write some code and click Run again. Distance is 7-8cm?!?

      Then I tried:
Remove and add again the hub and tof
Direct connection from tof to the Core on PortA
      Reset the Core
Switch off the core with the small switch on the DinBase
Unplug and replug the power cable
Close the Ch0 on the Hub and open again
      And other stuff…

Sometimes the distance was correct, but mostly wrong. I could not see any rule of the issue. When happens what?

      Any ideas?

Really funny. They need to be calibrated!!! No out of the box...

That always worked. But 500 mm(The result comes in mm I think) from the TOF are in real something totally different. It does not matter what surface. I tried a lot. I need a correct value from the TOF for my project...
      Any Idea?

    • RE: Core2 Uiflow TOF default Hub??

      @gavin67890
That means, in the "uiflow add unit dropdown menu" everything is ok with the default hub?
It just looked weired to have Pahub to choose, but no unit is already added...
The rest of the workflow is clear.
But why to the TOFs send some stupid values? Can I reset a PaHub? On the Tofs I cant reset anything.
Also stupid values when I connect 1 Tof directly to the A Port
