install drivers, check with few usb cables as some are power cables only not data cables, was your M5Gray supplied with cable?

Hello @alcor please have a look at the schematic. With external 5 V you can power the M5Stack Gray either through the IO Port or the Bus Port. Use pins 5 V and GND (G). No, when powering the M5Stack with external 5 V, the battery will not be charged as this bypasses the TP5306 charger IC. Thanks Felix

Hi all! I figured I'd update this thread with my findings. I've been running a unit in my non-insulated plastic shed for two months of Canadian winter with no problems whatsoever. The screen turned on immediately and is perfectly fine. No unexplained lockups, reboots, or other glitches. It has been a relatively warm winter (unfortunate for my testing). Inside the shed, it got down to -15C one weekend, but for the rest of the time, it has been between 0C and -6C. Humidity has been an average of 78% with a peak at 97%.

Can confirm the m5stack core2 aws iot edukit edition suffers this same behavior. I don't trust myself to do the tiny soldering, this is incredibly disappointing.

Hello @jsolo12345 the reset button only restarts the ESP32. The EEPROM is emulated on most devices *) and simply a part of the flash. In other words, no, the content of the EEPROM is not deleted when the reset button is pressed. It gets erased however when the flash chip is erased, but then the program is gone as well. *) M5Paper is an exception as it actually has a dedicated EEPROM IC. Thanks Felix

@calvorotas I'm having similar issues. What is that "adjust all pins" about? Did you had any bent pins? My 15x2 looks good, but I'm unsure what does "adjust" mean and maybe I have to do something. Thanks!

i fixed it now turned out the cable cracked while setting evrything up. so it just didnt see the second engine anymore.
