Ok so it seems that Vlc will never be able to decode the http stream as it's not really a stream just consecutive jpeg images. So I turned to rtsp instead and the micro-rtsp project. I used the instructions here mgo-tech.com, to install Arduino IDE and ESP plugin (translated by google), take care to use correct pin mapping, I used that instruction as it is for M5Camera type b the same as I have. Tried the CameraWebServer also, much nicer then the original software. Followed instructions here hackster.io to get a http/rtsp server. Worked fine except the picture was the wrong way around for my application so I copied a few lines from the CamereaWebServer example to flip it vertical and Horisontal and lowered resolution to vga. Works fine with Vlc but a bit more sensetive to fast movement then the http stream. Why may you ask? Vlc got recording and is easily implemented in my project.

Have you tried erasing the flash, and reflashing a different firmware? Did you use the firmware burner in uiflow desktop to burn the firmware?

Hello Sam, I have the Lora868 module; Just a quick word of advice, if you want to use the module with the LMIC library then you -as mentioned in the article you pointed out to- have to solder the DI0 1 pad of the RA-01 to pin 34 of the M5stack connector. The pin-out for the Lora868 module: MISO - 19 MOSI - 23 SCK - 18 NSS - 05 RESET - 26 DIO 0 - 36 DIO 1 - 34 <-- this one is NOT connected when you get your Lora868 module, soldering needed! If you want to know the physical pinout of the RA-01 (https://docs.ai-thinker.com/_detail/lora/spec/ra-01_picture.png?id=lora) Greetings!

The encoder signal is displayed very accurately and also evaluated very precisely. Of course also with the NXT motors and EV3 motors. I will see that I make a video the days once again where you can see how precisely he drives the set values. @liemph I will then connect a NXT motor and run it on different values of the encoder! The GlideWheel PF and RCX motor controller for NXT or EV3 cannot be mounted directly on the old motors, because it is designed for the power motors (on these it is mounted with two pins), but you can mount it somewhere in the system on the shaft of the motor. So you can make an encoder motor out of any Lego motor.

@mmroos said in M5Stack Fire and M5 Piano?: So I ordered a M5stack Fire and a M5 Piano. Now I found out that the Piano's 15 pin connector cannot fit anywhere on my M5Stack. Is there a way to convert grove to those 15 pins or is there another solution? Preferably one where I do not have to sacrifice my 600ah battery. The Keyboard is designed for the I/O Base plate https://m5stack.com/collections/m5-base/products/battery-bottom-150mah?ref=pfpqkvphmgr [image: BOOTOM_1200x1200.jpg?v=1566377177] Here is the know information on the keyboard.link text The pins can be found on the internal 2X15 pin internal bus connection.

@ajb2k3 said in Is it possible to dock M5Stack Fire to FACES ?: There shouldn't be any problems using the fire on the Faces base as it is still a core. Yep there is no problem at all. I have fire and ita fine with face. Now i have also new face bottom with just arrive. So clasic face finally got 2 extra ports.

I tested the DAC module. You need to use dac0.writeData (Volt, save = True) in the range from 0 to 2700 to get from 0 to 3.3V. For variable indications to be similar to voltage, they should be divided by 0.00125.[image: 1576164901150-dac-resized.png]

It will help a lot if M5STACK can publish more sample code in sms/mqtt communication.

M5Stack conexiones

I could wrote with parts from here and there my own code, without know absoluty nothing of coding. What I got: YOLO 20 CLASSES maix example but with all the features of StickV, as turn off, torch, etc. Draw the boundary boxes with better size and more clear bounds. Send via USB the coordinates, fps, class of the bboxes. Maix example only give FPS Any MOBILENET example code as 75 classes, or my own trained model keeping the features of the original firmware as Torch, buttons etc, as if you train your own model you lose that things. Send via USB Class of the object, fps and size of the inference (I think but not sure, I print kpu.foward (task, img) ) My trained model recognize all the kind of surface of my house, parquet, carpet, tiles, etc my rabbit and people. It works very nice. It is to pass that info to my robots. The think is I dont know what protocol use via USB, I think is Uart via VCP, but not sure. I would like to know the grove connector if is programble and how, pins 34 35, it should be possible, but no idea for what is used, if is fixed to I2C, SPI or what. Now what I want to know too is how get bbox in mobilenet models, it only give text, but dont draw boxes. Example of UART there is in the chinese version of MAIXPY wiki/ API. The web of training is just amazing and worth more that any support from MAIX, M5Stack should not leave the support in hands of Sipeed, their support and realibility is null. https://www.instructables.com/id/Object-Detection-With-Sipeed-MaiX-BoardsKendryte-K/ Follow this guy, he helped more that the own company, and check out all possible OPENMV IDE and forums, that is from MAIXPY was forked

@ruslancc Unknown but I have fixed that now. It could be that the M5Stick can not provide enough power for the heart rate monitor. You could try connecting one of these https://m5stack.com/collections/m5-accessory/products/grove-t-connector-5pcs-a-pack [image: GROVE-T_1200x1200.jpg?v=1566377200] between the Stick and the heart rate monitor and use the other connection to provide an additional power supply for the monitor.

Sorry, i have to give up on this. Something strange happened yesterday. After getting quite bad sound quality out of the node module i did something else and suddenly i heard a bang, followed by a strange smell. After unplugging and disassembling i found at least one capacitor dead in the module. [image: m9EnjH7FjSvm6JiY6] Have not decided if i salvage some parts or try to get at least the leds and the IR back into function ... currently it is just heating up when i power it.

You need to use a command line program called ampy to move the libraries across. This guy wrote a guide in which he used the standard micropython firmware and added his own libraries https://www.hackster.io/andreas-motzek/execute-logo-on-m5stack-esp32-basic-with-micropython-3713fd
