I've bought the PICO DIY Kit, that contained the ESP32 Downloader. I'm securely connected the 5 pins of the Downloader to the appropriate pins on the Stamp Pico. Then I connect the USB-C cable (sync+charge) to the Thunderbolt 3 computer port. All drivers are installed. Also, no LED is lighting up on the Downloader.

      osx version 14.3.1

      some tips?

      best regards

@cepics This happens to me everyday! The problem is that the Thunderbolt port is 'too smart'. It does not recognize the peripheral and so will not engage power.
If you have USB port on your machine try that, or a powered USB splitter. This is what I use.

          Cheers, Terry!

@ajb2k3 Yes, and some ESP32 S3 will ONLY connect with Thunderbolt!

              Cheers, Terry!

connected to the USBC port and never have a problem as the thunderbolt are only used for Hard drives.

@ajb2k3 Nice unit, I did not realize that you had an M1Mac!
I should get one of these ports!
I may be wrong ( I am wrong) about the Thunderbolt issue, so I am checking it out more thoroughly!
                  -cheers Terry

@teastain When I started I had a 2012 MBP (still have it sat on the floor) but had to buy a 2022 M1 iMac for M5Stack writing .
The device came recommended but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the stupid TB port.
