@ajb2k3 I don't have an ENV III but no problem with the ENV II

RE: Can't subscribe to MQTT topic
@ajb2k3 It would be good if M5stack had some sort of chart or spreadsheet that stated what currently worked and what didn't. Also an eta for things coming etc. Compared with the number of M5stack youtube "how to" videos that appeared for previous "Core" products, the CoreS3 is suffering. Maybe I got on the Core2/Fire bandwagon after most teething troubles were fixed and most features were no longer "Alpha"!

RE: Can't subscribe to MQTT topic
@felmue Somewhat annoying that so much seems to be broken at the moment. We have no buttons and I cannot work out how to do anything with the microsd card. Would like to play a wav alarm file when specific MQTT message is received. Neither seems possible yet.

Where is MQTT Start ?
I've only just started using the CoreS3 but cannot find "MQTTstart" that I used to use with the Core2. Is there some documentation I can read on changes?

RE: M5Core3 Factory Test
@sheepdog I think there are now many users who have received their CoresS3 orders but no way of programming them yet. It looks so promising but it's useless at the moment. The silence/lack of updated info is somewhat worrying.

RE: Cores3 uiflow
@ajb2k3 What's happening on Friday and where can I read about it? I am straining at the leash with frustration!

RE: Cores3 uiflow
@ajb2k3 Mine are supposed to be here tomorrow - let's hope I can do something with them. I have a number of M5 products and have generally been pleased with them. Where will your guide appear?

RE: Cores3 uiflow
@ajb2k3 Let's hope they get things sorted. I have a number coming next week and so far, I can't see how I can program anything but the demo for Core3. Uiflow 2 looks promising but missing some items that I have previously been able to use in Uiflow 1 devices such as the Core2. Maybe I am just being impatient!

RE: No data on Grove C/UART2 ...
@sarahc Many thanks for the very useful info - If only it was more widely available/published it would have saved me hours of frustration!!!

Ver 1.7.8 time: 2021.06.04
- On-board IR(NEC):
- StickC/StickC-Plus/ATOM support.
Is there any documentation/example for using the IR Remote Unit to receive and send in the recently added NEC IR mode.
I realise that that that it said for the "On-Board" IR on the Stick C Plus but wondered what it means by "Recommended download to the device for use NEC mode" - I can't find any help anywhere unless I use Python and the existence of the "IR Receive Data" implies that I can receive NEC codes using the IR Unit with a Stick C-Plus
Many thanks

Thanks for the tip. That sorted it for me. Shame M5STack don't perform better quality control.

RE: Microphone on M5StickC in UIFlow?
@m5stack 10 months and we're still being patient!

RE: UIFlow 1.7.4
@m5stack Yes, that's exactly how I got it to make a noise in the end. A lot of messing just to get something that is so easy on the other basic stack, fire or Stick - specially if one wants several distinctive beeps/tones. Seems strange that the "latest and greatest" is missing such basic functions when it has a speaker on board, as standard.
Let's hope it's in the pipeline sooner rather than later.

RE: UIFlow 1.7.4
I thought we would have had the sound capability of Core included in the Core2 firmware by now.

RE: [Core2] Add Speaker.beep and Speaker.volume to Core2
Has anything happened on this - still can't "Beep" in UIflow!
