  @felmue Thanks for answering!
  Tried it and now I am getting always chip id 0xFF or 0x0 depended on data order in SPISettings (MSB or LSB first). Tried it with and without battery plugged in but there was no difference.
  Any other ideas?

  Hi,
  I been trying to find a library that will work with the M5-stack 6-DoF IMU Pro Mini Unit (BMI270, BMM150, BMP280)for an ESP-32 running micro python and preferable using i2c communication however are open to other types.
  Does any one have any ideas?

  @marcelusvictor Did you put the Cardputer into Download Mode as described here? https://docs.m5stack.com/en/core/Cardputer
  If Yes, check your device manager if the COM port appears without any error message. If it not apears then your USB cable may be broken or has power wires only (cross check with another one).

  Problem solved:

  Since this used to work, I started poking around looking at version numbers. It turns out that at some point, the component manager "upgraded" my component from V0.1.16 to 0.2.6. I am talking about: https://github.com/m5stack/M5GFX.git

  Sure enough, rolling back to 0.1.16 solved the issue.

  I think I am done with automated component management.

  @PaulSchulz Same here, maybe they forgot or a workaround can be to get rtc time and add 30 min to display correct time, hope its updated soon
