But here we have an comercial project. I payed for something which they show not correct in the advertisement.
I cannot use it and I get so support !!

I cannot use this system ! I'll go back to Arduino.

BTW: M5Stack cannot be used to control the rover. The rover-system works only correct if I can control all the 6 motor individualy. So -- no change with M5Stack

I thought, that the hardware/controller of M5Stick and M5Stack are the same and that MicroPhyton is just another way of displaying the blocks of UIflow.

I do not understand why M5Stack made no "fair" advertisement/documentation.
For me it would be "fair" if they would write "ESP32-based support BLE 4.2 and WiFi not compatible with UIFlow""

I think, for some (many ?) users the UIFlow possibility is an argument for M5Stack/Stick.

Has anyone been able to drive two DC motors from the go plus 2 and core2 stack ? I am facing a problem at motor A which only rotates on values greater than 0 to max 127 , but goes not change direction on negative values . Though motor B works absolutely fine . I tested many motors each showed same behaviour at mot A port and worked fine at mot B port .
Is my goplus2 damaged ?

If it's for battery, then I think a 3,7 V akku will work - the same they are using in the moduls.

Solution with me, Use an older 5V USB power supply.
The new ones switch off due to insufficient power consumption.

it's no problem - i've ordered one and will have it by the end of the week.
I looked to the scematics too ( - a little, I'm no specialist) and I found what you said.
And I found more things that make me problems.
I think the voltage from the external input is converted to 5V DC like the USB power.
So I cannot use my DC12V motors unfortunately - I have to change to 5V types.

(Now I unterstand, why they are rotating with so less power and slow.)

The set.pmk function is used to "encrypt" data transmissions, you set the same key in the transmitter and receiver. I have not had the opportunity or need to test if it works. You can find a library for arduino esp-now on the internet. Practically the functions have the same or similar names as those in python. I think the easiest way would be to send from the transmitter all values separated by commas as text and receive them the same way. in uiflow or in python using split function which will make you a list with separated values

Lists -> make list from text with delimiter.

As a delimiter you set your separator character e.g. ","

Then you read each value with

Lists -> in list ... get # item number

A workaround is to just copy the contents of icon.c into the main script where the include-line was.
So, overwriting the include-line with the contents of the file that was meant to be included.

I thought it would be enough to have icon.c in the same folder as the main script, but it was not fould that way for me.
Pasting into the main File is not the intended way to do it, so can anyone tell how includes are meant to work here?
I am pretty sure the path of the main script is normally working for include commands...

so - I installed that driver -- and it works ! (on all of my PCs and notebook)
Perfect !!

I found that I have to burn the M5Flow UI 2 times.
The first time the burn process was very fast (about 5s) and after that the device shows no reaction - screen black - no reaction on any key. (according to the PC display everything was ok - no error)
The second time burning was about 5 times slower, but now every thing is as it should be. The M5Stick works and I can use UIFlow.

Strange -- maybe sometime anybody can explain ........

Oh ... I see a big problem !
There are 1m, 1,25,, and 2,5 mm conectors and I think they are the 1mm types using.
But I cannot find one with longer wire - only 10 or 15 cm with open end cables. Open end would be no problem, but I need minimum 30cm - 50 cm would be best.

@ramaker please clarify which module you are using for the dc motors, is it the go plus or lego as there are a few that control dc motors, once I know the one I should have a better idea of which cables you need

Oh - I made a mistake !
It is not the software "M5burner" - this is clear for me - excuse me.

I do not understand "EasyLoader".
This software is mentioned on the top of every documentation and there are different versions for every unit.
But what is the software flashing ? -
I know that EasyLoader flashing "a firmware" - but were is it from and what firmware ?

Is it a kind of update service ?

In one topic of this forum it is said, that I can cange the I2C adress with this software. I have only change a line value inside a file or script ??? no more info.

Do you know more about that software and how it is working ?

p.s. I'm exited too about M5Stack and I want to use it in a autonomous vehicle. That's why I'm asking for the use of multiple sensors and motors.

from looking at both schematics (M5Core Fire and GoPlus) I'd say:

An external power supply will power the M5Core Fire, but it won't charge the battery. (If you look at the M5Core Fire schematic you'll see that only USB can charge the battery, but not the 5 volts coming from the GoPlus).

Depends on the motors and the USB power supply. If the USB power supply is strong enough it should be able to power both, M5CoreFire and the motor.

The voltage for the motor will be lower with option 2 - probably in the area of 4.6 volts. Whereas with option 1 it will be in the area of 6 volts.

Please note: I derived all of the above information purely from looking at the schematics as I don't have the GoPlus module myself, so I could be missing something and my conclusions could be incorrect.
