Hi @felmue Ok, than next option would be simbase.com. They offer Sim Cards also for individuals. Prices seem a bit higher... Covererage is given also for Italy. Anyone has experience with this service? Thanks, flori

@patf said in AtomS3R IMU and magnetometer calibration: @mgrouch Hi there, the M5Unified library has a calibration routine that works well. See the IMU example in the library, and make sure to read all of the comments carefully. You press the Atom BtnA (screen) and it will calibrate for 10 seconds, enough to do one axis at a time. You are best to calibrate the accelerometer, gyro and magnetometer separately for best results. Personally I modified the example so that the calibration starts on press BtnA, and ends on the second press of BtnA. i.e. no 10 second countdown. This way I can take my time and calibrate all 3 axes of each sensor (accl, gyro, or mag) in one continuous movement. I looked at the calibration code in m5unified library. It doesn't look right to me. There is no sphere fit being performed. Only offset biases are estimated. What about scale biases? Thanks

@Merlin513 Hi! I have used 2.3.3 for months, and there is a new 2.3.4. I have an 'old' AtomS3. This is not usually a problem! What sketch are you running?

@HappyUser I guess it is directly connected to some hardware pin, so it may not be controlled by the user. Or you can check the schematic and write high and low levels to all LED pins connected to GPIO to try it.

@cepics The files are there, they are only edited and compiled with PlatformIO.cpp files: https://github.com/m5stack/Atom-JoyStick/tree/main/examples/StampFlyController Here is the main: https://github.com/m5stack/Atom-JoyStick/blob/main/examples/StampFlyController/src/main.cpp

@brrainz I just got my M5AtomS3 running with M5Unified (with very little changes from my M5Stick display code - other than fonts.) The buttons changed, and I'm not sure what a double click is yet.. Anyway, your reference to the "static pin value" is where I'm stuck as the M5AtomS3 references the FastLED.h and doesn't compile. I actually want to use FastLED. Assuming this is the same error, can you document how you got it to compile? (If not I'll post my own problem). /Users/scott/Documents/Arduino/libraries/FastLED/src/FastLED.h:304:39: required from 'static CLEDController& CFastLED::addLeds(CRGB*, int, int) [with CHIPSET = SK6812; unsigned char DATA_PIN = 23; EOrder RGB_ORDER = (EOrder)66]' /Users/scott/Documents/GitHub/M5Unified-ESP_IOT_Nov24/ESP32_M5Unified/ESP_IOT/src/SensorClass/KeyUnitSensorClass.cpp:124:54: required from here /Users/scott/Documents/Arduino/libraries/FastLED/src/platforms/esp/32/clockless_rmt_esp32.h:358:46: error: static assertion failed: Invalid pin specified static_assert(FastPin<DATA_PIN>::validpin(), "Invalid pin specified"); ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~^~

@dahult I just tried these examples and all three can be compiled successfully. Maybe it's your library version problem? Have you installed the board manager correctly?

@kuriko I bought it at the M5 store and as returning the item is impossible, I will have to throw it in the trash. Here's a tip NOT to buy the AtomS3, because from what I've seen, it's a chronic problem with the device and a lot of people have the same problem
