Hello @antimix I see the same on my M5Stack (Gray) - when I turn it off manually I still measure about 2 V on the Groove port. In contrast when I do the same with an M5Core2 the Groove port is properly turned off when M5Core2 is turned off. Since there is no full schematic for the M5Stack (Gray) it's hard to tell why the Groove port isn't fully turned off and if there is a way to really turn it off. BTW: even with the Groove port not fully turned off the battery should not have been depleted completely as the battery has a built-in protection circuit which in theory should prevent under- or overvoltage. Thanks Felix

Hello Felix, thanks for the info on your M5Stack tuning. I opened the case and managed to get to the MPU9250 however, I am quite sure that I would burn something considering the tools I have. I took a photo of the MPU9250 with the 1.5mm Allen key next to it just to give an impression of size. [image: 1619535256712-win_20210427_15_28_44_pro-resized.jpg] I have purchased some ADXL355Z and will try a "conventional" solution. BTW, to open the case I followed the instructions given here (https://forum.m5stack.com/topic/257/replace-cracked-screen/6). Cheers, SpeedyG

@simons Another option... if you did not want to use wires/cables and I2C, you could go wireless and use ESP-Now. It’s really easy to implement in uiFlow as well. I’m not sure of your project requirements though. Just a thought. Good luck!

God day Hague! I would appreciate if you can explain how to get DS18B20 (multiple sensor on 1 wire) to work in UIFLOW. Tryed for days to find anything about it on web but get only one fantastic way to get it work only for one sensor. Please share your knowledge :) Best regards Dario

You download M5Burner, Connect the M5Stack, Select the USB port, Download the latest firmware version for the M5Stack, Erase the software on the device with the erase button, Write the UIFlow version to the device and wait for it to restart, Close M5Burner, Open wifi manager and connect to M5 wifi device, Open web browser and goto the IP address on the screen, Select your home wifi and type in password (spaces are not allowed in wifi SSID), If you connect succesfully, the API with be shown on the screen as it tries to connect to the UIFlow web server.

Hi, I suggest contacting with the store directly as I suspect you have a faulty device - they could help you arrange a replacement.

@pierred You need to provide power to the 2x15 pin connection to power it, the grove is power out only.

You could use serial port in your device and usb to serial converter. https://www.google.com/search?q=matlab+serial+read&oq=matlab+serial&aqs=chrome.2.69i57j0l3.5644j0j7&client=ms-android-tplink&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8

@jkirchheimer are you using the M5stack internal speaker for the MIDI sounds, because “dacWrite(25, 0);“ mutes the speaker

@kylebuttress Here is an option if you have the Grove T-connector... [image: 1598213960060-img_1586-resized.jpg] [image: 1598213985316-img_1585-resized.jpg] [image: 1598214014373-img_1584-resized.jpg] Otherwise, if you have the M5stack Go or Fire, you can use that base attached to the M5 Grey core. Then use Lego technic pieces as @ajb2k3 mentioned. You can purchase the base separately here if you don't have the M5 Go or Fire. Another option is to design and 3D print a "sidecar" bracket for the TOF unit that will allow it to snap onto the grey core base. Not sure if you have a 3D printer or not. Also, check out some of the things from @macsbug on Thingiverse as well. Hope this helps get your creative juices flowing!

Hi @Tristar have you tried to run the I2C scanner program? This should give you an idea of what's connected to the I2C bus. https://github.com/m5stack/M5Stack/tree/master/examples/Advanced/I2C_Tester For instance MPU6886 is at address 0x68 and when you read register 117 - WHO_AM_I you should get 0x19. Thanks, once I got the other computer to see the device (can't flash a device that doesn't show up in device manager), I was able to reflash it. Then I took it back to my laptop, and it still wasn't seeing it. So I switched USB cables, and it did. Then I switched back to the original USB cable, and it worked with that cable again. (Note that I had hooked up a M5StickC via the original USB cable, and it is working fine with that cable now, so the cable isn't bad). Gotta love Microsoft Windows sometimes.

LiPo batteries are pretty dangerous if they are deformed. I suggest you to keep it away from house. This happens to them due damage, overheat, overcharge and other usage with impropriate conditions.
